Here are a few videos of our “Wrestler ONLY” Sessions… We started them a few years ago and have become pretty successful and are starting to become legendary in the gym…. The guys have a love/hate relationship with them.
This session is mean to be done with in addition to 2-3 other training days… Most of our wrestlers will do a Max Effort Lower body day, a max effort upper body day, then the wrestler session which is full body and we use it to train Dynamic Effort (explosive) Upper Body and Lower Body and then do some muscular endurance training targeted to wrestling.
Notice we usually start the session off with a “pre-fatigue” so that we have to be explosive when a little bit tired. This is the opposite of how we would typically train on a normal training day.
