As many of you know I love the sport of track of football skill guys… The type of speed that you can develop with that type of training can be a game changer for football skill guys!
I experienced it first hand. I think that track took my speed to another level and helped me become and All-American running back.
Now you don’t necessarily need to be on the track team to benefit from that type of training. I’ve modeled much of what we do from a speed standpoint around my years of track… I still compete in track and it helps keep me sharp training my athletes. There is no better way to learn than by doing it.
Recently an article came out about Christian McCaffrey and how he trains just like an elite sprinter. I love the way he is training. Many times pro athletes do some really dumb shit reaching for that extra 1% improvement in performance then young athletes stupidly copy them…
