One of my favorite Jump variations is the kneeling jump… though they are pretty hard even our youngest athletes are getting good at them.
The kneeling jump itself is relatively low impact as there is no reactive qualities making it great for in season or extra jump training.. Its basically a pure hip explosion.. These can be combined with other jumps as well or weighted with barbells, weight vest, kettle bells, ankle weights, or any combination.
They can also be done with or with out a stretch reflex so you can train starting strength like a sprint start…
